Abi & Jon's Spring Southend Barns Wedding
It was a crisp early May day and childhood sweethearts, Abi and Jon, were getting married at the picturesque venue of Southend Barns in Chichester. Boasting high ceilings and lofty beams, the rustic barn setting was abounding with copper hues, natural weathered wood and modern stone textures. With lush manicured garden hedges and perfectly mowed lawn-stripes to be seen in the courtyard, the barns were full to the brim with earthy textures and vibrant contrasting spring colours. The couple made the most of the fabulous spaces on offer, even having selected to marry outside in the Secret Garden ceremony area (despite the slight chill in the air)! Natalie & Paul's Southend Barns Summer Wedding
Back at the start of the summer this year I photographed Natalie and Paul with their two sons and daughter at the stunning sunny location of West Wittering beach. Engaged to be married in August, this couple’s wedding was an exciting and long awaited occasion for the whole family and I was delighted that they had chosen me to photograph the big day. Once 11th August had arrived I was pleased to be meeting up again, sharing jokes and laughs from our previous shoot and getting excited for the day ahead!

Emily & Zach's Southend Barns Summer Wedding
The last day of June this year was steaming hot, perfect for outdoor nuptials and particularly ideal for the exciting debut of the brand new outdoor ceremony area at Southend Barns. Emily and Zach had been planning their wedding for two years and so it was a wonderful surprise for them to discover they could marry in this newly created bespoke space. It had been sweetly named ‘The Secret Garden’ which was due to be finished and ready for use just in time for the couple’s big day. Being a gardener by trade, this tranquil hideaway outdoor area particularly appealed to Zach who would really appreciate all of the rustic textures, including the lush green leafy plants and trees, wooden log feature walls and original flint stone barn walls. The couple felt hugely honoured to find out they would be amongst the first to marry in this beautiful garden space and of course it was a treat for me to have an additional beautiful backdrop to frame the bride and her groom exchanging rings and promises.
